The Don Valley Parkway (DVP) will be closed from Friday, April 20, 2018 11pm to Monday, April 23, 2018 5am due to construction. The entire length of the highway from Highway 401 to Gardiner Expressway will be closed. Expect traffic delays of 15-30 minutes or more on all roads throughout the following area: North to Highway 401, east to Warden Avenue, south to Lake Ontario, and west to Humber River. Expect delays on all Toronto Transit Commission bus and streetcar routes within this area. GO Transit bus routes 61, 63, 65, 71, and 90 will be detouring - expect delays. There will also be no subway service on subway Line 1 from St Clair West to Union Saturday, April 21, 2018 and Sunday, April 22, 2018. Please note that the previously planned DVP closure from Friday, April 13, 2018 11pm to Monday, April 16, 2018 5am was cancelled due to severe weather.

Road closures will take place on some or all of Blue Jays Way, Bremner Boulevard, Grand Trunk Crescent, Lower Simcoe St, Rees St, and York St before and/or after all Toronto Blue Jays games at the Rogers Centre (SkyDome) and Toronto Raptors and Toronto Maple Leafs games at the Air Canada Centre. Local residents and businesses are required to obtain a pass from Toronto Police to drive in the area. Toronto Transit Commission 121 Fort York-Esplanade bus service will detour.
